Brenda Marie Norman, age 42, passed away on February 14, 2012 in Brainerd, Minnesota after a courageous battle against bone infection. She was surrounded by her loving family as she entered into heaven. Brenda was born on July 1, 1969 in Brainerd to Gerald & Patricia (Petersen) Norman.

Brenda enjoyed spending time with her son Josh, boyfriend Jeff Rasmussen and her family. She had a passion for baking. She was attending Central Lakes College for her bachelor’s degree in accounting. She mostly enjoyed holidays when all of her family would come together. She also loved going to the races every Saturday at North Central Speedway.

Brenda is survived by son Josh Norman, Brainerd; mother Pat (Walter) Kronschnable; boyfriend Jeff Rasmussen; siblings Thomas Kronschnable, Altoona, PA; Gerald “Butch” (Tracy Beach) Norman, Brainerd; Angela (Robert) Martin, West. St. Paul; Joseph (Shawntell) Norman, Brainerd; Connie Norman & boyfriend Jonathan Harris, Trommald; and Julie (William) Kruchten, Brainerd; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her father, grandparents and sister Melissa Kronschnable.

Visitation will be Monday, February 20, 2012 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army Chapel in Brainerd. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Salvation Army Chapel.

Memorials are preferred.
