Irene A. Grange, age 99, resident of Carefree Living, died on September 3, 2012.

Irene was born July 25, 1913 in Warren, Minnesota to Olaf and Anna Olson. She married Allan Grange in June of 1934.

Irene was an elementary school teacher in Warren, Minnesota and was the last teacher in the area at the old country school.

She enjoyed playing bridge, sewing, knitting and entertaining.

Irene is survived by her son, William (Sandra) of Baxter; grandchildren, Matthew (Kerstin) Grange, Melissa (Ben) Fogal; great-grandchildren, Liam, Ethan, Samuel, Abigail; sister, Ina Mae Gullekson of Burnsville, MN.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; brothers, Gordon and Kenneth Olson; sisters, Leona Bordenkircher and Alvina McGlynn.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home in Brainerd.

Visitation will begin 1 hour prior to the service.
