Carl Eugene Watson, age 78, of Deerwood, MN, died March 6, 2012 at Mille Lacs Nursing Home in Onamia, MN. Carl was born October 5, 1933 in Brainerd, MN to Ellis & Viola (Gardener) Watson. Carl married Delores Matson on August 18, 1957 at Community Alliance Church in Garrison, MN.

Carl was employed as a cement mason.

Carl is survived by his wife, Delores, of Deerwood; children: Tyrone (Shelly) of Deerwood, Kerwin (Teresa) of Tyler, MN and Terrance of Deerwood, MN; ten grandchildren and two step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; siblings: Darrell (Donna) Watson and Glen (Darlene) Watson of Brainerd, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kim and sister, Dorothy.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 9, 2012 at Community Alliance Church (Missionary Alliance Church) in Garrison, MN. Visitation will be one-hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at a later date at Bay Lake Cemetery in Deerwood, MN.
